  1. Hi Gale,
You have an interesting blog. I didn’t know you were an artist and kind of lost track of Lee’s kids over the years. Hope you are well and enjoying life.
    Your elderly cousin,
    Mary

    1. Mary- Thanks so much for the quick note. Please keep in touch! It’s been forever since we’ve seen each other. Seems like Mike has been the one keeping track of you. If you couldn’t guess, he has the Red Menace blog. Still a total geek but that’s good. Marilyn is always great for relaying the cousin updates. Pass my love along to the amazing Lauren. If you ever head our direction, please let us know. We would all love to see you!
      Love,
      Gale

  2. Hi Gale and happy Spring!

I finally got a chance to check out your website and look at all of your great photos. Very cool!
I will show Zac the pictures of the sheep this afternoon when he gets home from school.
    Much love, Kathy

  3. Hi Gale,
I saw your incredible leaf coat at the Art Center and had to track you down. You continue to amaze and inspire! I love your blog and will continue to check back. Keep up the good work.

  4. Hi Gale! Great website. It looks like you are having to much fun. Say hi to your mom from us when you next get a chance to visit her. We are doing well in Klamath Falls and have been very busy with our little coin shop, gold and silver have been getting a lot of attention lately.
    Best regards,
    cousin Bob

  5. Hi Gail, Heather at the arts center gave me your address. I am a shrine artist, book artist and collage artist new to Corvallis. She said you are busy with the fall festival but that we might have a lot in common. I would love to meet at some point when you have time. It would be fun to share work and see what the art scene is here in my new place. all the best, carol freya soth

    1. Thanks so much Rose! I guess I’ll finally have to accept one of the 3 nominations I’ve received over the past 4 weeks. 15 to nominate? Yikes! I don’t follow as many folks as you do! Thanks again for your supportive comments. I really appreciate them!

  6. Hi Gale, as a result of being given awards, and not following them up, I have just done a post offering ‘bouquets’ rather than awards, and you are one of the people I have listed as being particularly inspiring, my first interest was in your prints, but I am loving the versatility of the work you do, always interesting and exciting. Happy New Year!

    1. Anna, you are so sweet to have listed me. Congratulations on your first year of blogging and my your new year bring about more creativity. I always look forward to seeing your posts. πŸ™‚
Another strange sculpture will start forming in January. I’ll keep you posted!
A very Happy New Year to you!

  7. What a fabulous website, I had a good time traveling around here! Your art is gorgeous and your critters so sweet! I look forward to more of this! Warm greetings form Ohio, Johanna

  8. Gale – you are so versatile, I love your many varieties of art and materials. I’ll look forward to seeing more of your beautiful creations. I’ve only been following you for a short while.

    1. Yes, my art doesn’t remain stuck in one medium mainly because I keep wanting to try different things. I have a restless brain! Thank you for finding me because it’s opened the door to your beautiful creations. Looking forward to seeing more of your work too!
      Gale

      1. I’m like you Gale, I love to try new mediums. It should fun following each other’s explorations. Have a great day.

  9. Saw your work in Halsey across from the library. I have asked several people about the one picture showing the wheat. Can you let me know how much it would cost to get a duplicate of that piece from you or even if it is possible? We live out of Shedd and I grew up out of Halsey with a farming family. Wheat was one of our main crops. Now we have a trucking business that hauls wheat. Thank!

    1. Hi Glenda! Sorry for the delay in replying. Can you email me at gale.everett.studio@gmail.com.
I’ll work up a quote for you. That particular piece was a bugger to cut. I think it’s fabulous to hear about your wheat connection! The history behind wheat here in the central valley amazes me.
I look forward to talking with you more!
      Gale
