Afternoon Nap

It’s done and that’s about all I can say for tonight. It certainly took a few twists and turns I didn’t fully expect. I think I’ll have to live with it for awhile and hear what others have to say.

  1. Your description of your process is invaluable. Your frustrations never seem to match your progress with your images. They are truly wonderful and evoke a tenderness for these well-loved pets. Thank you for sharing. K

    1. Katheryn, thank you. As artists, we are our own worst critics. Since this is a process I haven’t explored much, it makes it that much harder to see past the “mistakes”. I have to remind myself the image I envisioned will never be seen by others. Maybe other artists really do achieve their ideal image on paper, but I suspect no one really does. One keeps striving forward and learning more with each work rendered. πŸ™‚
      Hope to see you soon!
