Kauai: ferns

Ferns are a certain sign of spring in our home climate. I’ve been watching bracken ferns slowly opening along the trails in Mac Forrest. On the Kauai trip there were oodles of ferns of all sizes opening new fronds.

Here are some of the images taken primarily in the Koke’e State Park.

  1. Beautiful photogrpaphs that captured the flora and fauna in interesting ways. Boy those Roosters look regal. I’ll have to look up your Year of the Rooster traits to see how I can best exploit, er ah, compliment them…ha-ha-ha…

    1. Thanks Carol & Cynthia! I never know what I’m really achieving with the photos until they upload on the computer. They are visual aids for future prints… 🙂
