Most people don’t spend a whole lot of time in ICU. They don’t get to meet the multiple nurses and doctors that take care of the patients every day, all day. Our situation is different. Yesterday I almost lost my brother. I’m thankful he managed to call our sister and she had enough sense to tell him to call 911. The paramedics arrived as she pulled in.
